Amicus Chambers welcomes the Hon. Emile R. Kruzick.
The members of Amicus Chambers welcome their former judicial colleague, Emile R. Kruzick, as an arbitrator and mediator. The Honourable Emile Kruzick was appointed to the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, in 1996. Over his 23-year judicial career he presided over cases in all areas of the law, hearing civil, criminal, family law and administrative law cases and appeals. He is recognized for his fairness, exactitude and ability to grasp critical issues. As a judge, he earned the reputation for being a good listener and a resolver of complex cases. Prior to his judicial career he was known as a leader in family law where he practiced as a barrister and mediator for 24 years. He has served on several boards and held executive positions in numerous associations.
In response to a query surrounding the efficacy of Alternative Dispute Resolution methods and solutions, Mr. Kruzick recently commented, “The resolution process can be tailored to the individual needs and underlying concerns of the parties and can address legal and non-legal issues as well as providing remedies unavailable through the traditional adjudicative process.”
