Amicus Chambers congratulates their colleague Sandra Chapnik on her appointment as a Member of the Order of Canada for her leadership in the community and in the legal sector, where she has promoted the advancement of women and encouraged best practices in the field. Sandra is a Past President of the Women’s Law Association of Ontario, a Life Member and the President’s Award Winner. She also endows a yearly WLAO prize, The Honourable Sandra Chapnik Women-in-Law Award to recognize female law students who exemplify the drive and determination to achieve a law degree after having spent time in the work force.
